The Wisdom of Speech and Silence

This one is from Saadi. My favorite poet and my favorite poem:

Though silence, to the wise, is often grace
There comes a time when words must take their place.
Two things will vex the mind and make it stray:
To still your tongue when there is truth to say,
And then to speak -unwisely and untrue-
In moments when silence would better serve you.
